The custom home construction process generally takes eight to ten months, depending on the size of the project. Keep in mind this does not include the time necessary to plan, budget and receive the building permit.

Step 1

Meet with clients to discuss ideas and budget. After a few in depth discussions,
Create draft drawings for the client to see. On approval of the project drawings an accurate construction budget, contracts and schedules will be written.

Step 2

Engineer Drawings, apply for building permits and make sure necessary insurance coverage’s are in place. Begin preparing site for services and foundation

Step 3

Order all custom products such as windows, doors, cabinets and flooring
Build foundation
Build the floors
Put on the roof
Install windows & exterior doors
Lock-up-Phase completed
**takes approximately 35-45% of hard-cost budget to complete to lock-up-phase**

Step 4

Rough in all plumbing, mechanical and electrical.
Apply drywall, paint and flooring. Install cabinets and all the electrical and plumbing fixtures- and you are almost to the finish line.

Step 5

Complete the homes interior and exterior finishing
Ensure all inspections are complete
Complete final walk-through
